Same issue with Niri on Wayland When launching from a terminal these messages are printed in the background which may help:

02:18:08.895 › [selectDisplayMediaSource] Source not found: window:1:0
02:18:21.699 › [selectDisplayMediaSource] Source not found: window:3:0

This issue seems not to be related in any way to #2 as its a different one all together.

Rex merged #168 Screen sharing won't work at all into #3 Screensharing doesn't work on wayland
Reason: GitHub closed this as a duplicate and a comment there names the original, so it is merged into that post.
