Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

I believe it could be linked with sharing audio. Each time it fails when I have audio sharing enabled for streaming, and disabling it allows me to share the entire screen without issue. I am using version 0.0.8 of the x64 AppImage on my Artix laptop. A strange tidbit is the crashing occurs on higher quality settings with audio sharing enabled, but I will remain in the call with lower settings. image The system I'm using: image

On Windows 11. Screensharing with audio on doesn't disconnect me, but doesn't start screenshare. Screenshare with Audio off closes the voice connection.

I noticed the same. When trying to stream with audio enabled, nothing happens and the window to select what you want to stream closes. But I can stream normally when disabling audio sharing. It does mention though when selecting the screen you want to share, that audio sharing is not supported on this system. Here's my system: image

For me on Windows 11 I can share my screen perfectly fine without audio but if I include audio the stream interface closes and doesn't start the stream but I stay fully connected to the voice call

Screen share is non functional for me on Fedora 43 w/KDE Plasma 6.5.5 I attempt to start screen sharing, the KDE screen/window chooser pops up and I choose something but then the same selection screen pops up again. When I click confirm on the second selection screen, it just throws me back into the channel without starting a stream image

On Windows 10 it either kicks me out of the voicechat or sometimes crashes the app entirely

I experience this exact behaviour when using CachyOS with KDE.

I have the same issue as described by some other windows users, Can start screen share without audio just fine, starting with audio doesn’t start it at all and just closes the ui element, but doesnt crash. I also have a partner on similar specs to me, but on win 11 home, who does crash out of the call like some of the others describe, when starting screen share with audio. But can also start screen share without audio just fine. Steps to reproduce are identical to original bug report. fluxer build for both of us: stable build 87 (28da28c), 2026-03-11 14:24:05 UTC, Electron 39.2.7, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), desktop stable 0.0.8 My system: Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-Core Processor (3.80 GHz) Installed RAM: 64.0 GB (61.5 GB usable) System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch: No pen or touch input is available for this display OS: Windows 11 pro 25H2 (build: 26200.8037) GPU: RTX 4070 ti super

Identical behavior for me on Arch (Garuda), KDE, Wayland. Installed from AUR.
