Verification email not received after signup

I have the same issue, unable to verify email. However I do get the verification emails, but delayed. In fact the resend option seems to prompt previous emails to be sent, but they are expired upon arrival. Now I've been 'rate limited' due to attempting to resend too many times. Details: Verification attempts made through web browser. First attempt showed now verification email. Resend prompts old email to be sent. However codes are expired upon arrival.
