Unable to set Camera Quality to "High (1080p)"

(#533) Bug Confirmed video

Summary

In Application Settings -> Audio & Video -> Camera Quality, Trying to set the Quality to 1080p does not work even though it is not greyed out and i have a Camera that can do 1080p. I am able to switch between 480p and 720p. This happens on the Desktop App and on the Web App. image

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go Into Settings
  2. Under Application -> Audio & Video
  3. Scroll down to Video -> Camera Quality
  4. Try setting 1080p and see nothing changing.

Observed behaviour

Not selectable, not grayed out or label saying "Requires Plutonium"

Reproduction steps

  1. Go to 'User settings'
  2. Then go to Audio & video > Video
  3. Try selecting "High (1080p)" in Camera quality

A moderator confirmed this bug and nothing in the thread shows a fix.

Are you using the Fluxer premium subscription? If not it is limited to 720p, like Discord is. The limited/paid features will all be free on self hosted servers.

Camera quality being 1080p will probably also depend on the connections from the camera to the PC and which USB it gets put into. Ie; USB 3.0 or if it is less than.

I don't have fluxer Premium and i expected the Option to say so that i need it. Also i know that my Camera is 1080p and it is plugged into a usb 3.0 port and is getting detected in other Apps as 1080p

If you use OBS and use the camera at 1080p on there and use Fluxer to use OBS camera does that work?

But don't i now need Premium for 1080p? Cause i created the Issue just to indicate that the option is not greyed out...
