I'd like to propose some kind of opt-in feature that community admins can turn on indexing on a per-channel basis. [AnswerOverflow](https://www.answeroverflow.com/docs/overview) tried to address this for discord, so maybe a similar idea for fluxer?Removed: ### ChecksRemoved: Removed: - ☑ I searched for existing discussions and didn't find a duplicate.Removed:

Opt-in search engine indexing for community channels

Problem

One of the biggest sins of discord is that it's where information goes to die. Reddit, for all its faults, at least made info discoverable with a search engine. There is so much good information in discord that could help people that's just impossible to find if you don't happen to be in the relevant server, and it's not like there's a native option to resolve this for server admins.

Proposed solution
