Pressing escape in a read-only channel with no unread messages does not scroll to the bottom

Observed behaviour

Pressing the Escape key in a read-only text channel does not scroll to the bottom of the channel (if the channel has no unread messages), unlike channels with the Send Messages permission. Happens on both web and desktop apps.

Reproduction steps

Go to a text channel that's read-only (with no unread messages).
Scroll to the top a little.
Press the Escape key on the keyboard.
Instead of scrolling to the bottom, the Escape key does not do anything.

Canary Web 2026.920.41305, Linux (x86), Chrome 153.0.0.0, Locale en-US

~~I can't reproduce this on Windows; Canary Desktop 2026.920.41253, Web 2026.920.41305, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), Electron 44.4.1, Chrome 152.0.7977.78, Node 24.21.0, Locale en-GB~~ Edit, I can reproduce this, the important detail is that, this happens only in channels where you don't have unread messages.
