Observed behaviour
Pressing the Escape key in a read-only text channel does not scroll to the bottom of the channel (if the channel has no unread messages), unlike channels with the Send Messages permission. Happens on both web and desktop apps.
Reproduction steps
- Go to a text channel that's read-only (with no unread messages).
- Scroll to the top a little.
- Press the Escape key on the keyboard.
- Instead of scrolling to the bottom, the Escape key does not do anything.
