Observed behaviour
I just made an account one day ago, I use a VPN for privacy and an e-mail alias for the same reason and to prevent spam, I made an account and upon joining a server it says that I should verify with a phone number, I gave fluxer my trust anyway and decided to use my real phone number for verification, it said it was an invalid phone number, it is a real phone not VoIP or anything like that. I tried multiple times and now it says "Too many attempts. Wait a bit, then try again." So I'm simply locked out of using fluxer.
Reproduction steps
- Make an account with a VPN and an e-mail forwarding alias
- Try to join a server
- Use your real phone number to verify
- Failure should reproduce
