Let me know if it works as of the latest version – it did however break auto-update functionality on macOS (seems to work on Windows), so I'm rolling back the build on macOS only while I figure that out.
Edit: False alarm on the macOS thing, I was just being too impatient. Had I waited 30 seconds longer it would've completed. The updater experience is getting improved with the new client architecture anyway so that it actually shows the progress on all platforms.
