Screen share is using software decoding (VP8) regardless of codec settings

I believe your graphics card supports VP9. However, are you using HDR? If so, try disabling it in your display device settings (desktop). Yesterday, my friend had exactly the same problem...

Nah, I don't have an HDR display or monitor, so that definitely isn't part of the issue.
