Linux Mint: Microphone audio is replaced with loud beeping

Issue disappeared. This was the combination of two different bugs:

• https://feedback.fluxer.com/p/84
• My system input was set to "Monitor of $headset" instead of "$headset" itself.

Changing the latter fixed my issue entirely.
