I want to provide an update after more testing. I can actually share my own screen without any problems - the other party sees it just fine. The issue is specifically when receiving someone else's screen share - I only see a black screen.
This happens on both Windows 10 and Linux (Ubuntu 26.04), which makes me think it's a client-side decoding issue rather than a platform or driver problem.
Here's what I've tried:
Installed Fluxer Canary (2026.602.31138)
Enabled VA-API with i965 driver for Intel HD 4400 (Haswell)
Tried NVIDIA PRIME render offload
Tried various Chromium flags (--disable-gpu, --use-gl=swiftshader, etc.)
Toggled Hardware Acceleration setting in Fluxer
None of these resolved the issue. The black screen appears when someone else starts sharing their screen, while my own screen share works perfectly.
Could this be related to how Fluxer handles incoming screen share streams or video decoding on the receive side?
