Summary

Desktop push notifications setting gets turned on automatically whenever the app is closed.

Steps to reproduce

Close the app and reopen

Environment (optional)

Happens on two operating systems:
  • Windows 10 22H2 OS Build 19045.6937 (Desktop client)
  • Ultramarine Linux 43 (RPM)

Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

I'm having the same issue on Kubuntu. From what I can tell, the setting is not persisting after the app closes and opens. Changing the setting and exiting/entering the settings shows it toggled off as expected, and the notifications are toggled off as requested. But once the app reopens after a close, the setting is reverted.
