unable to correct spelling from context menu

Observed behaviour

nothing happened when i clicked the correct word i wanted to replace the typo with. what is the purpose of a typo/grammar corrector? replace words with correct ones side note: this is a on-point observation from usability but it turns out that it is a larger issue where the text field context menu doesn't work except for pasting text

Reproduction steps

  1. type something that is incorrect in the dictionary
  2. right click and select a option to correct it
  3. nothing changes
