"New unreads" indicator is sometimes prioritized over "new mentions" indicator, on both channel lists and the community list

Observed behaviour

The "new unreads" indicator appears instead. However, this is applied inconsistently and seems to depend on the length needed to scroll to where mentions are.

Reproduction steps

  1. Visit a community with many channels.
  2. Mark messages in many channels on top as unread.
  3. Ping yourself in a channel on the bottom.
  4. Mark the message where you pinged yourself as unread.
  5. Scroll to the top of the channel list.
  6. If doing this for the community list: Put communities with just unread messages on top (step 2), and communities with mentions on the bottom and ping yourself (step 3).
