Observed behaviour
You are unable to send messages in that particular channel entirely until a client restart. Sending messages in other channels continues to work fine.
Reproduction steps
- Send multiple messages in quick succession until the rate limit popup appears.
- Close the popup by pressing the escape key on your keyboard.
- Wait over 3 seconds as the warning tells you to do.
- Send another message.
