Picture in Picture popup does not show up in Canary

Observed behaviour

PiP does not appear. This behavior is not present on 0.0.8 stable.

Reproduction steps

  1. Check fluxer://settings/user?tab=advanced_settings&section=advanced-settings-privacy to make sure "Disable picture-in-picture popout" for screen shares is disabled.
  2. Join a VC
  3. Switch to a different community to observe PiP appear

Can reproduce CR: Canary Desktop 2026.606.140333, Web 2026.605.11941, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-GB
