User can attempt to join a friend's call via Active Now when they do not have connection permissions to the channel

Observed behaviour

Join voice button can still be pressed, however you will timeout and not be able to join.

Reproduction steps

  1. Enable Active Now via Settings -> Look & feel -> Active now if it has been disabled.
  2. Have a friend join a channel that you can view but do not have connection permission.
  3. Go to the home screen (the Fluxer icon in the top of the community list) and click on Friends.
