Observed behaviour
The text chat starts scrolling erratically, and ends up on the wrong message
Reproduction steps
- Click a linked or replied message
- Change channels before the animation of going to the message finishes
- Go back to the channel that contains the linked or replied message

Evidence
In the attached video i first show a message link working properly followed by me causing this bug from that message link. I then proceed to do the same with a replied message. I show both working properly first to show which message they should be sending me to.
