Observed behaviour
It doesn't change, almost like the window doesn't have focus, until you click anywhere on fluxer then it restores the functionality
Reproduction steps
- Send a normal message - notice how you can press shift while hovering and it acts fine
- Send an emote or mention by typing it in chat then clicking it (or tab to select) in the suggestion menu
- Try to hover the message and pressing shift
