Pasting text while at the character limit will keep attaching the message as a file

Observed behaviour

It attaches a new file every time you paste

Reproduction steps

  1. Copy some text
  2. Keep pasting the text until you get near the character limit
  3. Paste again and watch it attach the message as a file
  4. Repeat step 3 and watch it keep attaching the file

Canary 754 (03135b2), Host 0.0.212, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-GB

Expected behaviour It should maybe only attach as a file when you try to send it, with some info saying this is what will happen

Can reproduce CR: Discord's behavior in this case is to continue counting but highlight in red as you go over with a negative number e.g. -9001. Canary 754 (03135b2), Host 0.0.212, Linux 7.0.4-100.fc43.x86_64 (x64), Electron 41.2.2, Chrome 146.0.7680.188, Node 24.14.1, Locale en-US

Can reproduce CR. I even managed to crash Canary by copy-pasting too fast. canary build 664 (d3ccc95), Electron 41.2.2, Linux 7.0.5-1-cachyos-bore-lto (x64), desktop canary 0.0.167, locale fr
