Emoji React Panel Doesn't Load Immediately

Observed behaviour

Emoji picker doesn't show up for ~20 seconds

Reproduction steps

  1. Close mobile app first
  2. Open mobile app, immediately long press a message with the intention to react
  3. Observe the distinct lack of an emoji picker panel
  4. Wait for about ~20 seconds (approximately 5 re-opens of the long press function)
  5. Observe the emoji picker has returned

Build information

Version 2026.09.100, Beta 3, Channel Beta, Build 530, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.5, Dart 3.13.4

Details

Expected behaviour Emoji's presumably should've loaded immediately/automatically via a cache or something similar

Can reproduce CR: seems to only occur in communities where you are not the owner. Version 2026.09.100, Beta 3, Channel Beta, Build 2530, Android 16 (arm64), Device Google Pixel 9a, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.47.5, Dart 3.13.4

Can reproduce CR - Version 2026.09.100, Beta 3, Channel Beta, Build 77, iOS 26.6 (arm64), Device iPhone13,1, Locale en-GB, Push apns, Flutter 3.47.5, Dart 3.13.4
