Screen sharing disconnects from voice or never starts when sharing audio

Screen share is non functional for me on Fedora 43 w/KDE Plasma 6.5.5 I attempt to start screen sharing, the KDE screen/window chooser pops up and I choose something but then the same selection screen pops up again. When I click confirm on the second selection screen, it just throws me back into the channel without starting a stream image

I experience this exact behaviour when using CachyOS with KDE.
