muted channels hidden but still appear when containing unread messages

Observed behaviour

the muted channel appears in navigation panel

Reproduction steps

have checked "hide muted channels" and mute a channel
the channel receives new messages

Version 1.0.0, Beta 36, Channel Beta, Build 2174, Android 16 (arm64), Device samsung SM-S931U, Locale en-US, Push fcm, Flutter 3.44.6, Dart 3.12.2

Can't reproduce CNR; muted channels even active remain hidden for me. Version 1.0.0, Beta 36, Channel Beta, Build 40, iOS 26.5.2 (arm64), Device iPhone17,4, Locale en-US, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.6, Dart 3.12.2

Can reproduce CR, some muted channels hide when I select the option but others don't - Version 1.0.0, Beta 39, Channel Beta, Build 45, iOS 27.0 (arm64), Device iPhone16,1, Locale en-US, Push apns, Flutter 3.44.7, Dart 3.12.2
