Android App crashes on launch when DCL via memory is disabled

(#1221) Bug Needs triage mobile security

Problem

On GrapheneOS, when you deny Fluxer the ability to perform Dynamic Code Loading, it will immediately crash. Steps to reproduce the behavior: Remove Dynamic Code Loading access Open Stratum Immediate Crash

Proposed solution

Remove DCL dependency. Dynamic Code Loading is considered by the GrapheneOS developers and community to be a security vulnerability, and even Google believes it should be avoided wherever possible.

Status changed from Fixed to Needs triage
Reopened because another user reported after the closure that the crash still happens in beta21.

@Kamalaja could you clarify on the closure? Is it something that will be fixed or a won't fix kind of thing? I noticed with beta21 the issue still exists.

I believe it is because this is the wrong repo, since youre talking about the flutter app.

Opening an issue on the flutter app repo redirects to either here for a feature request or to send an email with a security vulnerability, which this isn't. Screenshot_20260616_124450

Per the README for the flutter app: "During the beta period the only place to report bugs will be in the Fluxer Mobile community (they are mirrored to Github still). Once the beta period finishes you will be able to report issues on Github and the community."
