Inline previews for PDF attachments

I understand the security and maintenance concerns, and those are valid considerations. However, PDF support is a fairly common requirement for professional networking and recruiting platforms, as resumes, portfolios, research papers, and other documents are typically shared in PDF format. Rather than making it a high-priority feature, perhaps it could be considered for the roadmap after core functionality has matured. If implemented, it could be done with appropriate sandboxing and security controls to minimize risk. In the meantime, it would be helpful to hear whether there are specific technical or security concerns that make PDF embedding particularly problematic for this project.

I think embedding is the risk. Please research pdf exploits. Downloading an attachment is fine and already exists in fluxer. This feature sounds too risky especially when a file can already be directly downloaded as an attachment and opened.
