on discord, one of my biggest pet peeves is when i get a friend request from a random person but i cant ask who they are because their dms are not public. i think it makes no sense to not be able to dm people who have sent you a friend request, because the user has already consented to it if you accept the request, its just that you havent yet consented to being their friendProposed solution
