Observed behaviour
In desktop Fluxer's
Settings → Appearance → Messages lies the aptly named "Chat font size" option, which allows you to control the font size used in chat. This is pretty expected so no problem here.
However, in the Theme studio → Tokens, the second-to-last option is Font Size, and that token does nothing, I assume because it is completely overwritten by the "Chat font size" option.
More or less confirming this, using the !important property of css lets the token overwrite the settings option.
I think having an easy way to control the font size, without going to the theme studio, is a good thing for most users; so a suggestion could be to let both the setting and the token influence one another — although I don't know how easily feasible that is.Reproduction steps
- Go to Settings → Appearance → Messages
- Set font size to
24px - Open the theme studio
- Set the "Font Size" token to
100pxor1px - Observe nothing changes
- (optional) Append
!importantfor comparison
