iPad external keyboard mouse clicks not registering for certain interactions

Mouse clicks work fine for major actions like clicking on channels, user profiles, etc. But I've noticed them not seeming to register for the following two actions:

• Clicking on any of the items on the contextual message menu that appears when you hover over a message (react, reply, etc.)
• Clicking on an emoji to select it from the list when you start typing one out with :emoji_name. (Clicking the button in the input window to bring up the entire emoji selector and then clicking an emoji from there works fine!)

1. Navigate to any message or server on iPad with external keyboard attached
2. Hover over message to bring up contextual menu
3. Try to click any of the menu options
