Streams with stereo audio play back in mono

Observed behaviour

Streams that are supposed to have stereo audio seem to play back in mono when you view them. This happens both on the web app and on the desktop app, seemingly with streaming any application whatsoever.

Reproduction steps

Have someone start a stream with stereo audio
Start watching the stream
Observe that the sound plays in mono

This should be fixed via #3087, with #3070 covering the sending side. Feel free to retest and close the issue if you can confirm it's fixed!
