Bot messages appear blank for one user

(#824) Bug Fixed embeds

Observed behaviour

Can't see bot messages, and seem to be the only one who sees blank messages from the bot. I've tried turning off hardware acceleration, changing my connection, changing my VPN, restarting the app, then my PC, and searching for updates. I'd like to point out that this issue has also been occurring in the "Platform Status" chat on Fluxer HQ for months.

Reproduction steps

  1. Go to a channel with bot messages
  2. See blank messages from every bot, regardless of when the messages were sent

This happens because you have disabled rendering embeds on messages in your User Settings. Make sure that this is toggled on: image

I just enabled that setting and the problem is solved — I completely forgot to check it. Thanks for your help and all your work on Fluxer!
