Changing `Accent Color` in 'User Settings' does not consistently apply or display

(#81) Bug Fixed profiles

Summary

Changing the accent color from User Settings → Profile does not always reflect on the user's profile. In most cases, the 'selected color' appears unchanged or fails to update visually after saving (both in 'preview window' and in actual profile), making the feature unreliable.
  • The issue seems intermittent rather than tied to a specific color choice.
  • Example:

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to User Settings
  2. Navigate to Profile.
  3. Change the accent color to any different color.
  4. Save.
  5. View the profile to confirm whether the new accent color is applied.

It's happening to me too! Mine's stuck on orange.

Happening to me as well - mine is currently stuck on grey. It isn't working in either the desktop app (Linux AppImage) or via my browser (Zen).

In my testing the user-configured Accent Color is overwritten by the auto-selected color from the user's Avatar image. Accent Color customization works if no Avatar image is provided. Also, removing your avatar image and the saved Accent Color take effect once again.

Thank you for the report. This issue has since been resolved in the refactor.
