Observed behaviour
I normally leave the Fluxer Canary tab open on my browser, and check on it every so often, with wifi cuts inbetween (laptop sleeping). I don't know if this issue is unique to
Fluxer Developers>#developers-general(1427764813854588940/1427764813854588943), but I noticed on session reconnect, it will say as a banner at the top "1+ New Messages", with no new messages visible. Scrolling to the bottom of the channel does not mark as read. Hopping between channels and guilds does not pull the new messages, only a full reload will. I cannot confirm yet if this is (a) only the actively-selected server, or (b) any channel of the selected guild, or (c) any channel of any guild, but from my minimal testing it seems to be (a). - User Fluxer Canary web normally.
- (Have tab idle for a short while,) Close laptop lid (== disconnect WiFi).
- re-connect WiFi
- Fluxer "Connection lost. Reconnecting..."
- Fluxer "1+ New Messages" - no new messages visible
- Hop around channels/guilds - the original channel still has no new messages
- Scrolling to bottom of initial channel will not mark as read, nor remove the banner.
- Refresh browser tab. New messages are loaded fine.
