Fluxer web app stops accepting clicks when returning from idle background state

Summary

If I leave the web app running in the background while idle with a bunch of tabs open, the client becomes unclickable entirely when I return. The root cause seems to be that the splash screen isn't getting destroyed properly. I'm happy to open a PR with a fix for this

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Fluxer in a web browser tab.
  2. Open several memory-heavy applications or extra browser tabs in the background.
  3. Switch away from Fluxer and interact with the other applications for a few minutes to force the Fluxer tab into an idle state.
  4. Switch back to the Fluxer browser tab.
  5. Attempt to click on any element in the user interface.

Environment

Version: Canary Web 2026.605.11941, OS: Linux (x86), Browser: Chrome 151.0.0.0, Device: Desktop

Logs or screenshots

you cant literally click on anywhere 633174686-65f3dc35-4494-4b5f-a0a1-27ba27bea77f.webm proof that it is being caused by the splash screen image
