embeds dont update when message is edited

Summary

when i send a gif then i edit the content to change the gif url then the embedded gif doesn't update

Steps to reproduce

send a GIF e.g. https://klipy.com/gifs/monster-versus
edit the message e.g. s/i/x/
expected output: gif changes; embed refetches
actual output: the old embedded gif content is still there
