Screen sharing fails on Linux X11

Summary

tested on arch linux/cachy os on kde plasma running x11. cannot screenshare app or displays at all. looks like the code is only implemented for wayland systems.

Steps to reproduce

on cachy os with kde plasma on x11 open fluxer desktop screenshare (display/app previews show) but when clicking to share that display or app it gives an error message saying screensharing is unavailable.

Environment

OS: Linux/CachyOS (ArchLinux based) X11 KDE Plasma

I'm having a similar issue using the canary build from source. Here's my system details OS: Linux/Debian 13 Trixie DE: KDE Plasma 6.3.6 (Wayland) Steps to reproduce: Launch build executable start/join a call attempt to screen share Click "Open system picker", nothing happens. Additionally, if I try going to the "Displays" tab in this same window and click "Game Capture", the following output is logged in the console:
