[Self-hosted] Large video upload metadata unavailable

Summary

When uploading larger video files on self hosted instance, they get uploaded as plain files instead of an mp4 file that can be viewed in fluxer. The video in question was around 700mb. I have updated the reverse proxies as well as config limit to allow up to 1G and it upload itself finishes but not as a reproducible video. I've tried some uploads around 100/200mb and they seemed to be recognized as mp4 and play fine on the chat.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go into a community general chat
  2. Upload file
  3. select a large file (500+ mb)

Environment

Fluxer running on: Ubuntu server 26.04 2026.702.163118 Browser session: Helium Fedora 44
