Servers can't be moved or put into folders

(#630) Bug Awaiting confirmation ui

Summary

When I try to move servers or create folders, nothing happens and the servers just go back to their original position. This issue is consistent over multiple browsers and the electron app, as well as the canary build in the browser, which leads me to believe that my account itself has an issue, as other people seem to be able to do this fine. This is a reopen of issue #388 that was bulk closed because of Fluxer V2 where I was asked to create a new issue image

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have multiple servers
  2. Attempt to move server
  3. Attempt to combine servers into a folder

Environment

Version: stable build 508 (3250c73), desktop stable 0.0.8 OS; Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64) Browser: Electron 39.2.7, Device: PC stable build 508 (3250c73), 2026-06-06 21:26:08 UTC, Electron 39.2.7, Windows 11 10.0.26200 (x64), desktop stable 0.0.8 Canary Web 2026.605.11941, Windows NT 10.0 (x64), Firefox 151.0, Locale en-US stable build 508 (3250c73), 2026-06-06 21:26:08 UTC, Microsoft Edge 149.0.0.0, Windows NT 10.0 (x64)

Logs or screenshots

Github doesn't allow me to add the files that a browser generates when I try to profile it so I have no idea how to attach any sort of useful logs. Failing to create a folder generates no console error, failing to move a server now generates this:

Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

@Juliaxe Well it happens for me both in browser (Firefox) and on the electron client. It's been like that since I created my account. I've also seen multiple people be able to do it but mine doesn't work. It could be an issue with the account creation, since some people have older and some people have newer accounts and maybe some accounts are missing or have incorrect data. I don't think posting "this doesn't happen to me" helps.

Also, unable to reproduce the issue? Both on Firefox freshly installed, and the desktop client. Moving servers both in and out of folders works fine for me. I've tried with my newest account from a few days ago and one from a few months ago, both work. @Dddsasul It might help to post any console errors/network logs from inspection tools that could give a clue to why yours might not be working.

@HurleybirdJr Would love to but I have no errors in the console when this happens so it's kind of impossible. I would also love to upload Network, Performance and Memory logs but unfortunately, Github does not allow me, they are "unsupported" file types. The only thing I can do is wait for the devs to investigate it.

I'm unable to reproduce this in Google Chrome or the Windows Electron app.

Apologies for the long delay! This should probably have been reported as a support issue to catch our attention a bit earlier. Turns out this was specific to your account (and 411 others) who had run into a bad state without a user settings row being inserted on registration. This has now been fixed retroactively through a database repair job. Thanks for your patience.
