Webp emojis are not file size restricted

(#58) Bug Fixed emoji media

Summary

Whilst testing https://feedback.fluxer.com/p/16 I found that I was also able to upload both animated and non-animated Webp files as Emojis without any file size restrictions. I thought that the potential impact to the hosted infrastructure resulting from abusive uploads may warrant a separate issue created.

Steps to reproduce

Using the 10MB example found at https://examplefile.com/image/webp/10-mb-webp I was able to successfully save this to the Emoji panel. image image

Environment (optional)

Fluxer Windows Stable 0.0.8 ~ Desktop application

Hey there! I took a look at this and it seems like the file is being compressed client-side properly to fit within the actual file size. If you check the file served from the network tab in DevTools or download the image file (I'll improve the context menu options for this as well, noticed it isn't possible to right-click on an emoji to copy/open the CDN link). It was mostly able to compress this 10 MB file down to 36 KB (though when served via the media proxy, it's compressed further down to 6 KB) because of it not containing a lot of complexity. So this seems to be working as it should. Thanks for flagging this though :)
