Audio source doesnt change & requires a rescreenshare

(#549) Bug Fixed video

Summary

Seems like with the audio source selection, when sharing the screen and try switching the audio source to something else it does not do it until you rescreenshare. This happens on both my screenshare for my friend on linux and the other way around aswell.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Screenshare
  2. Select the audio source for a app or game audio
  3. Then try switching it
  4. Notice that on the other end it doesn't switch for the viewer
  5. Requires you to rescreenshare

Environment (optional)

canary build 469 (3b26b4c), 2026-04-26 03:48:33 UTC, Electron 41.2.2, Linux 7.0.1-1-cachyos (x64), desktop canary 0.0.44

Note that the Canary client is generally unsupported and should only be used if Fluxer staff specifically ask you to test something. That being said, there currently is a channel in Fluxer HQ with a list of bugs/feedback that staff are looking for and any related issues should be supported in the #canary-bug-reports channel in Fluxer HQ.

Yes I know this. Am I not allowed to report a canary bug here?

Canary reports may not be seen here. Hampus directed testers to report canary bugs through he HQ channels.

Ok well i report the problems to the canary text channel aswell already, just making sure and once these are resolved it will be closed, hampus and others in the project would probs get emailed about these issues being opened aswell so at some point someone would check. Anyways just noticed this problem is resolved so closed :)
