Tapping a reply on iOS scrolls back and forth instead of jumping to the original message

Summary

Device: iPhone 13 Trying to go to a message someone replied to by tapping it on mobile (iOS) scrolls to the top of current loaded doesn’t have time to load it, goes back down, repeat over and over in bright flashing mess. What should happen is it scrolls all the way up to the message.

Steps to reproduce

1. Have a message that replies to another message that’s offscreen
2. Click to go that message.

Note: Works pretty consistently for me.
