Stuck mention indicator on a channel with no new messages cannot be cleared

Summary

Hello, Right now, i got a ping from a chan, but there is no new message in the said chan, and i can't make the ping disappear. The option "mark as read" doesn't even appear in the chan's context menu and mark the whole community as read does nothing.

Steps to reproduce

Get a ghost ping.
try to make the ping disappear.

This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

Can you try this fix from the common issues section in Fluxer HQ?

Problem: I have a stuck mention or unread indicator. There are some known issues with mentions and unread indicators getting stuck in certain circumstances. We're working on finding a reliable way to reproduce the bug. In the meantime, you can resolve this by marking a message in the chat as unread, then marking the chat as read again. On desktop, you can do this quickly by Alt-clicking a message and then pressing Escape. Other times, simply reloading the client will fix it.
