Can't edit Community Nickname

(#529) Bug Awaiting confirmation profiles

Summary

When I go to the Profile section and select a Community from the Profile Type, I expect to be able to edit Community Nickname and Pronouns. However the fields are grayed out and un-editable.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to User Settings > Profile.
  2. From the Profile Type dropdown, select a particular community.
  3. Click on the Community Nickname field.
  4. See it is un-editable.

Status changed from Fixed to Awaiting confirmation
This was closed in a bulk cleanup before Fluxer V2 without being checked or fixed. It may work now, so it is waiting for someone to confirm whether the bug still happens.

I mentioned this in the Fluxer HQ community, since I also noticed this issue when I was trying to change my nickname in a community (didn’t check that it was reported on here). Hampus took notice and was able to fix it right before he went to sleep. ^^ stable build 395 (edea697), 2026-04-20 01:52:53 UTC
