Claiming a guest account fails with a request timeout

I’m not an expert, but maybe it’s your firewall blocking the app from connecting (unlikely)? Maybe try using a vpn.

I'm using protonvpn, tried disabling all extensions but still doesn't work, I've checked the network tab and client side nothing is being blocked on my side
