Application Redirect URIs no longer support the HTTP protocol

(#602) Bug Needs triage api

Summary

In the Application settings, for the Redirect URIs : it seems that URLs using the HTTP protocol (for local testing) are no longer allowed. I had added some before without any issues, but now it's not working. When trying to save the changes (with http URLs), I get the following error :
{
  "code":"INVALID_FORM_BODY",
  "message":"Invalid form body.",
  "errors":[
    {"path":"redirect_uris.0","message":"The provided value is in an invalid format.","code":"INVALID_FORMAT"}
  ]
}
image
To compare with Discord: URIs starting with “http” are allowed.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to the Fluxer User settings > Applications,
  2. Create or edit an existing application,
  3. Add a Redirect URI starting with "http" (http://example.test for instance)
  4. Try saving

Environment

stable build 508 (3250c73), 2026-06-06 21:26:08 UTC, Firefox 151.0, Windows NT 10.0 (x64)
