Invites sent via direct messages fail to accept and return HTTP error `500`

Summary

When I accept invites sent by other users, they fail to accept, pop up a dialog saying the community can't be joined, and display error 500 in the network request. I expect the invite to accept and the user added to the community. This bug also occurs when accepting invites not sent via DMs. Please let me know if I need to provide anything else.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Send invite to a user from the "Invite Members" dialog or access invite from a link shortcut
  2. Attempt to accept the invite

stable build 190 (44b6925), 2026-03-27 14:07:52 UTC, Firefox 149.0, Windows NT 10.0 (x64)

Summary

So I invited my brother to my server and yesterday everyone could join the server that I made but today for some reason when I try to join with my brother's account, the message pops up saying failed to join. I tried to make another invite link but the same thing happens.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Registering a new account in Fluxer Web App
  2. Verifying the email
  3. Opening any invite link through any way to my server
  4. Failed to join message pops up

Environment (optional)

  • Any (I tried with my Linux PC, Windows Laptop and Android Web App)
