I'm not 100% if this is unique to muting "until I turn it back on" or not because that's what I'm doing.Removed: ### Environment (optional)Removed: Removed: _No response_Removed: Removed: ### Logs or screenshots (optional)Removed: Removed: _No response_Removed: Removed: ### ChecksRemoved: Removed: - ☑ I searched for existing issues and didn't find a duplicate.Removed:

Client shows "new messages" notification for channels that are muted

Summary

Despite a channel being muted the server still shows me a "new messages" bar. image Clicking the new messages bar brings me down to the channel I have muted (in this case #flatpak) and clicking the channel, then clicking "mark as read" on the blue bar or scrolling down until the end makes the notification finally go away when I scroll back up. image

Steps to reproduce

  1. Find any channel
  2. Right-click, mute channel
  3. Click another channel and scroll so the channel you muted isn't in your channel list
  4. Await new message in muted channel
I'm not 100% if this is unique to muting "until I turn it back on" or not because that's what I'm doing.
