Long user status causes self popout card to misalign

Can you reproduce this?

This bug has a 10 XP repro bounty. Follow the steps in the report on your own device and tell us what happened.

Reproduction steps

  1. Set a somewhat longer status (around 70 characters)
  2. Open bottom left profile card
  3. Check the horizontal scaling of the pop-out and the alignment of the profile picture

Expected behaviour

It should be the same as as when you open a user pop-out card such as in a server or a DM.

Actual behaviour

The pop-out stretches and the profile photo becomes unaligned up and to the left. I had a friend attempt to reproduce on windows and it was not a issue.

Canary Desktop 2026.1106.11354, Web 2026.1107.32732, Linux 7.2.12+deb14-amd64 (x64), Electron 44.10.0, Chrome 152.0.7977.169, Node 24.22.1, Locale en-US

Hi there, I tried this with status messages of various lengths, even copying yours exactly, but was not able to reproduce the issue. I wonder if there is another setting that is needed for this issue to occur? Canary Desktop 2026.1106.11354, Web 2026.1107.32732, Linux 7.2.15-200.fc44.x86_64 (x64), Electron 44.10.0, Chrome 152.0.7977.169, Node 24.22.1, Locale en-GB

I am not quite sure what exactly could be causing it; afaik I do not have any settings on that would cause this. I changed my screen scaling and aspect ratio to make sure it wasn't some one off issue from that either.
