Stripe identity verification could be used for verifying people's ages if they are deemed under age

if a user is deemed underage through no action of their own like joking about being 10 and getting reported etc. Regulation would require that user be banned from looking at NSFW. If we wanted to accept a appeal from them we would need to see an acceptable form of ID. I feel that this is a compliance nightmare just sending a random group your ID and not sending it through a secured ID verification system. Also in certain countries and US states ID verification needs to be done right off the bat

We can use the stripe Identity verification system and only request the specific data that we need

I'm aware age verification is a unpopular topic but the elephant has to be addressed that age verification is a requirement in certain jurisdictions and not meeting those requirements can cause burdensome financial loss/imprisonment
