Current problem
Based on this troubleshooting in HQ community: https://fluxer.com/channels/1427764882469228556/1427764882469228559/1567484067589390336
Currently, when you try to find a specific setting in the Settings menu (in our case, disabling the attachment expiry date on media), the search function will only find settings and setting descriptions that are in the root of the settings menu, but not the ones burried inside the "Configure" modal.
This leads to situations where searching for terms like "expiry" or "expiration" will not find the correct setting, leading the user to believe that said setting does not exist.
Proposed change
I would either change the search functionality to also have visibility inside modals (maybe show a tooltip on the "Configure" button with "N match(es)" when searching), or simply change current Configure behavior, from modal to accordion.
Platform
macOS, Windows, Linux, Web, Android, iOS
Additional information
A good example on this are settings on Chromium browsers, where searching for a word does a deep search inside all of it's menus:
e.g.: edge://settings/?search=cookie
